Putty

Putty is a simple to apply, malleable or injectable bone paste composed of collagen gel comprising 80% micronized porcine cortico-cancellous bone mixture. It is available in different quantities and comes in either a ready-to-use, sterile syringe or container.

Grainsize 0.1 - 0.3 mm, slightly radioopaque
Tissue Collagen approx. 20% (mixed with Gel 0)
"Re-Entry" Time   approx. 4 months, depening on size defect
Packaging 1 x 0.5cc (1 gr.) / 3 x 0.5cc (3 gr.) / 3 x 0.25cc (1.5 gr.)
Indications
  • small, 3-wall periodontal defects
  • extraction sockets
  • granuloma, cysts
  • small, peri-implant defects
  • filling the bone crest with ridge-split technique 
CAVE  requires a pressure-free, stable application, if defect is larger
than 1cm3, Putty should be mixed with Gen-Os 1:3
